Made It, which will debut April 29th, is a new project from the team here at Choose Your Struggle. Unlike our other shows on the Shameless Podcast Network (founded by Jay in January of 2021), Made It will be a show in the serial format. That is, it will tell a story over the entire season (instead of over just a single episode) and will be released all at once, which makes it perfect for binging.

Made It will focus on people and organizations (much like Jay and Choose Your Struggle) that came out of the embers of a life-changing bout of trauma. The show’s title is a play on words in that respect. Not only have these people made something beautiful, but they themselves made it back from the bottom.

It is with this in mind that we’re excited to announce that Made It Season 1 will be titled Stay Savage and focus on Sarah Laurel (pictured with Jay below) and Savage Sisters. Sarah is in recovery and created the harm reduction and recovery housing org. Savage Sisters from a hospital bed. Jay is lucky enough to call himself a board member for this wonderful organization and, when the show drops, we’re sure you’ll see why he considers himself as such.
